Assembly Republican Legislators endorse Ted Bui in AD 70
Fountain Valley, CA – – Today, key members of the California Assembly Republican Caucus endorsed Ted Bui for Assembly in the new 70th District. Endorsing Ted today were Assemblymembers Frank Bigelow, Laurie Davies, Heath Flora, Jim Patterson, Kelly Seyarto, Randy Voepel, Thurston Smith and Suzette Valladares.

“I am honored to have the support of these Republican leaders in the State Assembly,” said Ted Bui. “I look forward to joining with them in the fight to protect taxpayers, end wasteful state government spending and increase public safety.”

The 70th Assembly District is a newly drawn Assembly District entirely nested in Orange County that includes the cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster, and Garden Grove and portions of Santa Ana, Los Alamitos, Huntington Beach, Stanton, Seal Beach and Midway City. Ted Bui is considered the strongest candidate to hold the seat for Republicans in a November election.

Ted Bui serves as President of the Fountain Valley Rotary Club and is active in the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce. Fountain Valley is one of the largest cities in the new district, which also includes Garden Grove, Westminster, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Stanton and parts of Huntington Beach, Santa Ana and Seal Beach.

As a City Councilman, Ted has led efforts to ease COVID restrictions that harm local small businesses and has been a champion for increased public safety. In addition to crime and the economy, Ted promises to focus his efforts on reducing homelessness and traffic congestion. Ted Bui has been a business owner for over 20 years with a legal background. Ted and his wife, Attorney Rose Bui, have four children.
